Catherine Evans

In the subject specialist team we help learning providers who want to develop and improve their digital delivery. We work together to find solutions by facilitating workshops, and sharing best practice and advice and guidance. We also take part in national conferences and events, briefings and webinars, and specialist forums. My specialist areas are building digital capability and skills, learning and teaching, employability and developing digital learning experiences and communities.

I have 20 years experience working in a further education environment in Wales, starting out teaching office applications and then progressing to teaching on initial teacher education programmes. I have also supported teachers with their pedagogical practice as a mentor and then as a teaching and learning manager responsible for the continuing professional development of academic staff.
