Lawrie Phipps

I work with a range of colleagues across Jisc to understand new and emerging technologies and especially the behaviours and practices associated with them. I work closely with institutions, interviewing staff and students, to gather research and information that helps Jisc develop technologies, guidance, products, and services.

I have a background in environmental sciences and technology, working on a range of projects for over 25 years. I am an executive coach, a professor of digital education and leadership, a fellow of AdvanceHE, and an associate fellow of SEDA. My practice is grounded in my networks and communities in higher education.
