About

This interactive workshop is your opportunity to help clarify the significance and relevance of the EAA for those working in UK higher education and research.

Hosted by Jisc and the Glenlead Centre as part of the accessible digital futures project, we warmly invite people from higher education providers, sector bodies, government, and the technology industry to explore questions and concerns about the European Accessibility Act (EAA), including:

  • What are the benefits and what does it mean for procurement policies and practices?
  • How should industry and the higher education sector prepare?

This afternoon workshop will begin with a working lunch during which there will ample time for professional networking and conversation.

The lunch will be followed by an afternoon of expert guest speakers and lots of opportunities for discussion and priority-setting.
